Le week-end du 13 et 14 Avril 2019 notre équipe congolaise a organisé deux projections du film dans la ville de Lubumbashi, la capitale de la région du Haut-Katanga au sud-est de la RD Congo.
Lubumbashi est un des centres économiques du Congo, bien connu pour la traite des minerais et le commerce financier. Le Haut-Katanga abrite beaucoup d’industrie minière et quelques unes des plus grandes mines de cuivre et de cobalt y sont situées. La population locale est concernée par les crimes économiques et environnementaux perpetrés par les entreprises multinationales d’exploitation minière.
Le samedi, 13 avril, nous avons eu l’opportunité de mener un débat animé avec une cinquantaine de participants lors de la projection dans la „Salle Hypnose“ à Lubumbashi.

On the 13th and 14th of April 2019 our Congolese team organised two movie screenings in the city of Lubumbashi, the capital of the Haut-Katanga region in south-eastern DR Congo.
Lubumbashi is one of Congo‘s economic centres, well known for mineral trade and finance business. The Haut-Katanga region is extremely rich in mining industry and harbours some of the world’s biggest copper and cobalt mines. The local population in and around Lubumbashi is concerned by economic and environmental crimes perpetrated by the multinational mining companies.
On Saturday the 13th of April, we had the opportunity to have a vivid discussion with the five dozens attendants of the screening in the „Salle Hypnose“ à Lubumbashi.
